Weekend wishlist: REN skincare deals and discount codes
I don’t know about you but I really struggle with night time skincare. I feel like I want to use a bit of a richer product at night, but I don’t want anything too heavy and greasy, and my skin can be a bit sensitive (oh, the horrible tingly pain of a recent dabble into Vitamin C). What I want at night is a lovely smelling, nourishing, soothing moisturiser so I wake up all plump skinned and happy. I was starting to think it was too much to ask, and then I discovered REN Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm and I’m completely addicted. I’m a huge fan of REN products; they’re cruelty free and as I mentioned recently, they’re really interested in sustainability, introducing a new 100% recycled plastic bottle, 20% of which will be plastic collected by global organisations like Surfrider from oceans, beaches, rivers and lakes worldwide. So I thought I’d dedicate this weekend’s wishlist to telling you about some of my fave products, and giving you the heads up about some fab REN skincare deals and discount codes too.
REN Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm
This is a really new product so you won’t find it on counters until September, but it is already available in Marks & Spencer. The balm contains lipids from olive, almond, borage and linseed oils to intensively nourish and moisturise, and Beta-Glucan helps to calm and desensitise. The scent is soothing and botanical - like that amazing, calming smell that hits you when you walk into a spa. The texture is light and it’s so easy to apply. After cleansing, I just melt a little on my fingertips and smooth it all over my face and neck, giving myself a quick DIY facial massage until it’s all absorbed. It’s not greasy and it feels super nourishing and moisturising.

REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic
I’ve mentioned Ready Steady Glow before (actually it was back in February and I still haven’t finished that bottle - and I use it every morning) - it’s a wonderful glow-giving, complexion brightening tonic that’s so easy to use. In this hot, sticky weather it’s particularly lovely and refreshing to use too (oh, and the smell - so orangey and delicious).

REN Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium Anti-Fatigue Body Wash
This gorgeous, gently foaming body wash smells so good - you’ll love it if you love the fresh scent of the ocean - and it’s the perfect pick me up. I love using it after a run - a tiny bit goes a long way - and I find the lovely scent lingers both in the bathroom and on my body. It’s not massively ‘girly’ either so it’s perfect for everyone. This is also the bottle that’s made with ocean plastics (you’ll notice it has a slightly grey tinge, which I think is actually quite cool).
