Weekend wishlist: the Skinsense Hydranet range
Hola! I’m being a rebel and doing my weekend wishlist a day early today (let’s face it, every day is like a weekend at the moment isn’t it?), but there’s a method in my madness as the Skinsense Hydranet range is Today’s Special Value at QVC, meaning that you’re going to get all these products for just £32 so obviously I had to give you the heads up. Read on to find out all about my favourite Skinsense bits, and about the Skinsense Hydranet TSV in particular.
I’ve become a bit addicted to quite a few bits in the Skinsense range recently: my absolute fave is the Revitalising Facial Serum, which smells AMAZING and is a light gel cream texture that instantly disappears into your skin. I love layering light skincare and this stuff is just gorgeous. It’s packed full of good stuff (I’ll let you read the blurb) and I feel like it plumps my skin and gives a lovely glow with absolutely no greasy residue.
I’ve also moved from my Beauty Pie Super Retinol Serum to the Skinsense Anti Ageing Double Strength Retinol Night Serum. I could be wrong, but I feel like the Beauty Pie one is a really good entry level retinol, while the Skinsense one is brilliant if you want up up the ante a bit in terms of retinol. Plus I love the lamellar technology that Skinsense uses - hang on, here comes the blurb: it’s basically the use of fine, alternating layers that form an even bond with the skin, delivering the Vitamin A (Retinol) gradually, throughout the night ensuring maximum results whilst reducing the risk of irritation.

On to the Hydranet range, then. You’ll recognise them by the fact that the ‘sense’ bit on the Skinsense logo is blue instead of pink. As the name suggests, the Hydranet range is supercharged with active ingredients to help deeply hydrate the skin, so if you’re like me and your skin needs super hydration without any greasy feel, they’re perfect . The range uses the same clever lamellar technology, plus hyaluronic acid, acacia collagen and sweet almond oil, which means it all smells delicious.

The QVC Today’s Special Value kit contains four products: and I really REALLY need to talk to you about this body cream. I was really surprised to see a couple of low reviews on the QVC website mentioning the smell. I’ve been using it since Skinsense very kindly sent me the kit a couple of weeks ago, and yes, when you first open the cream it’s got an odd smell - I’m guessing that’s one of the active ingredients, but honestly, when you slather this gorgeous buttery cream all over, you’re left with a delicious, fresh smell and absolutely no weirdness, which makes me question why people care what it smells like in the tub. Anyhoo, it’s fabulous to slather all over after a bath or shower and leaves you with really moisturised, soft, heavenly smelling skin. I’d highly recommend it. My hands have been so sore and dry with all the extra hand washing at the moment, and I’ve been using this after every wash - it’s divine.

Next up, there’s the Hydranet Day Cream, which again has a lovely gel-like texture with no greasiness and a fresh, light slighlty floral smell too. It leaves a lovely, dewy finish on the skin and is the perfect base for foundation (or in my case, my favourite Ultrasun Anti-Pigmentation tinted SPF 50 (top tip - apply this bad boy with a foundation sponge for amazing, fresh-looking glowy skin).
There’s also a serum - Hydranet Intense Concentrate - again, perfect for layering - it’s got all sorts of loveliness including peach extract, sweet almond oil and shea butter, and smells amazing. It leaves a lovely glowy finish to the skin and is super plumping and moisturising.
Lastly there’s the Hydranet Powerful Eye Concentrate. This one’s also got sweet almond oil, as well as jojoba oil and shea butter, and is a lovely eye brightener (it’s got light reflecting properties which is soooo flattering, especially if you have dark undereye circles) with a silky feel - just a heads up if you’re a watery eye sufferer - this one didn’t irritate my eyes at all.

Pop over to QVC to bag the set for just £32 plus postage - this price is literally for 24 hours (until 9pm I believe), but I’d recommend them all individually (I’ve linked these where possible) if you’re just looking for maybe a great body cream or a cracking eye cream that won’t irritate. I was really impressed.
Thanks so much to Skinsense for sending me the products to review. This post isn’t sponsored or paid in any way, but the products were gifted. All views are my own, honest opinions.
