Weekend wishlist: lockdown lingerie

Hey! I hope you’re all surviving - what is this - lockdown week four, or maybe five (just googled, it’s day 33 today). I got all ready for a meeting on Thursday and sat puzzled when nobody logged in because I thought it was Friday. Duh. Last time I was talking about lockdown leisurewear so this time I thought I’d address the issue of what’s underneath. I’m assuming that - like me - you’ve mostly abandoned the push me up, suck me in kind of underwear that matters when you actually care what it looks like underneath proper clothes? So what should we wear instead? I’ve been looking at some gorgeous lockdown lingerie that I thought I’d share that will still make you feel lovely, whilst being super comfy as well.

My absolute favourite lingerie shop, Victoria’s Secret, is back open for business again here in the UK, and nothing makes me happier. When I went for to Intu Milton Keynes for a sneaky peek at the gorgeous new spring collections, Victoria’s Secret very kindly gifted us a bra fitting, and I fell in love with the t-shirt wireless bra - they’re really soft, comfy and supportive, give you a really nice shape, but feel like you’re wearing a vest top - and they come in a range of gorgeous colours (ooh and they’re currently on sale).

I ended up choosing this brandied peach colourway. The knickers are these in sunset rose.

Marks & Spencer have got some really lovely soft lingerie at the moment. I really love the sunny colours in this bralette - just the thing you need to cheer you up during lockdown, and it’s great value too.

H&M have this really pretty soft lace bra - as you can tell, I’m a bit taken with this peachy colour right now but they do it in black and white as well.

Being quite small boobed, I’m quite happy to go for soft, triangle bras, but don’t think you can’t wear these sorts of pretty bralette things if you’ve got bigger boobs - have a look at the Savage x Fenty range that’s got loads of really pretty bralettes like this black one, which goes up to size XXXL and is super pretty.
