Want to spend Halloween at Hogwarts? Here’s how!
If, like me, you’re a massive Potterhead, I think I’ve probably just found the perfect event for you! Fancy spending Halloween at Hogwarts? There’ll be spooky smoking cocktails and dinner in the Great Hall complete with floating pumpkins and roaming Death Eaters. Warner Bros Studio Tour London has just announced that once again, the Great Hall will be receiving visitors for a very limited time - just three evenings - for a spectacular, spooky dinner event. Hogwarts After Dark will allow the lucky guests exclusive after-hours access to the studio tour as well as a host of other incredibly cool once in a lifetime experiences. Are you brave enough to dice with the Death Eaters? Here’s how!
What to expect from Hogwarts After Dark
The super-exclusive event starts with magical smoking cocktails and canapés before guests get to walk the red carpet through the doors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry into the iconic Great Hall. In true Hogwarts fashion, the hall will be decorated for Halloween in the most magical way, with enchanted floating pumpkins just like in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, and a table groaning with delicious Halloween goodies, pumpkins and cauldrons full of lollipops!

And that’s not all, next comes a fabulous two course dinner with drinks while Death Eaters roam the halls, and then it’s time to grab a lantern and follow the spiders into the brand new Forbidden Forest, where you’ll find dessert, spookily served next to a host of magical creatures: Buckbeak the Hippogriff and the terrifying Aragog the Acromantula!
After dinner, there’s even more excitement, with a really special after-hours opportunity to explore the Studio Tour, where you can see all the brilliant sets, like the Weasley’s kitchen and Dumbledore’s office. Even better, there’ll be an opportunity to meet the incredibly talented team from the Prop Making Department (who might even disclose a few secrets, like how those enchanted pumpkins stay up in the air) and even learn a few moves to protect you from the Death Eaters from expert Wand Choreographer, Paul Harris.
There’ll also be a chance to sip a glass of Butterbeer and then explore a specially darkened Diagon Alley, complete with roaming Death Eaters and extra-spooky, atmospheric music. I mean, it sounds pretty incredible, doesn’t it?
