Or how about a day trip to Brussels? The lovely chaps at Eurostar are encouraging us Brits to head off and explore Europe. Kids under 4 even travel for free! To celebrate, I’ve got a family ticket to give away!
Win a family day trip to Paris (or Brussels) and there are so many things to see and do: go cultural in Brussels at Bozar, the centre for fine arts, with special activities and exhibitions for the family. or head to Paris and grab a crepe on the Rue Montparnasse, or buy baguettes and some cheese and have a picnic by the Eiffel Tower. Bag a great view of Paris from the ferris wheel at the Fête des Tuileries – the annual summer festival in the Tuileries garden situated near the Louvre, or just wander by the Seine with an ice cream. Heaven.
Eurostar passengers travelling to Paris and Brussels can also take advantage of 2 for 1 entry into a range of top museums and galleries including Musée d’Orsay and Grand Palais in Paris and Bozar in Brussels, all by simply showing their Eurostar tickets at entry. And remember, any EU Citizen under 26 gets free entry to any of the national museums in Paris.

Coming back, jump on the train in Paris at 8:13pm, and you’ll be back at London St Pancras at 9:39pm local time or even leave it til 9:13pm and arrive back at 10:39pm.
For Brussels, you can depart London St Pancras at 6:50am, arrive in Brussels Midi at 10:07am local time, then depart at 6:56pm, arriving back at 7:57pm.

Ah Paris.
Sous le pont Mirabeau coule la Seine
Et nos amours
Faut-il qu’il m’en souvienne
La joie venait toujours après la peine
Vienne la nuit sonne l’heure
Les jours s’en vont je demeure.
(Below Mirabeau Bridge flows River Seine
Just like our loves.
Must one recall it to my mind that when
Pain went away then joy would always come.
And when the night arrives and sounds its bell,
The days are gone, but here I surely dwell.)
