If you’ve not heard of Carla Bikini before, they’re a lovely French swimwear company that stock a wide range of swimwear, sportswear (if, like me, you’re always after good fitness stuff, they have some great tops, sports bras, leggings and shorts, beachwear and lingerie, from some great brands like Seafolly, Rip Curl, Fantasie and Freya. I ordered this swimsuit (pictured above – sadly not in the sale) a while ago and absolutely love it – it’s so comfy and supportive, doesn’t ride up and washes really well. I’ve done a couple of orders now and found them really helpful too. At the moment, there’s a summer sale on with prices up to 80% off so I thought I’d pass on a few of the bargains I’ve spotted. Here are my top picks from the swimwear sale at Carla Bikini.
Firstly, can I just do a bit shoutout for the gorgeous new coconut waters from Coldpress that you can see in the picture? I got sent quite a few but they’re disappearing so fast! The boys keep pinching them, Mr E keeps taking them to work, and we’ve been using them in smoothies too. I love them post-run (I think coconut water is supposed to be really good at rehydrating?). There are two flavours: Blood Orange Mandarin and Raspberry Lemon Apple, and they’re both free from any added sugar and also have 35% less natural sugar than regular fruit juice. The ‘cold press’ element of it means that they retain far more of the nutrients too. Stock up next time you’re in Boots!
On to swimwear, then: I’m still completely slogan obsessed and I absolutely love this cute bandeau bikini top with a little hashtag logo. The matching bikini bottoms come in a choice of different shapes too, so you can find the one that’s perfect for you (also comes in XXS so might be perfect for a teen):
I love a cute beach cover up and this Seafolly kimono is actually nice enough to pop over your vest and shorts as well, and it’s such a bargain, reduced from £74.90 to £9.90!!! Available in all sizes – grab it before it’s gone:
Lots of the bikinis have loads of money off but will maybe only available in certain sizes, so there’s a great search facility that enables you to look at products just in your size, then you can mix and match them to suit you. This Seafolly goddess black bandeau top is such good quality and reduced from £64.90 to £25.95, and still available in 12, 14 and 16 – then you can find a cute pair of bikini bottoms to match, either in black or mix it up with a nice bright colour or these zigzag ones – reduced from £42.90 to £15 and currently available in 8 – 14 (there are loads of incredible swimsuits and bikinis going right up to size 24 too):
If you’re a fan of the higher waist bikini (very flattering), I love this gorgeous Emmatika orange triangle bikini top (available in 8-14 with 60% off at £19.97) and high waisted bikini bottoms (available in 12 – 18 with 50% off at just £20.79):
The Amazonas flip flops are really lovely as well – the ones I ordered are now out of stock, but these Amazonas palmera flip flops are just stunning and still available in all sizes, reduced to just £8.30!!
I absolutely adore a straw bag and I’ve ordered this gorgeous one with pink leather trim (now sadly out of stock, but the turquoise trim is absolutely gorgeous and still available at £30.75):
If you spend £150 you’ll get 10% off, but I’ve got a special offer (see the ad in my sidebar), which brings that down to £1oo with the code ENMUM. There are loads of kids swimmers and some great fitness gear too so I don’t think you’ll find it too hard to spend £100! Do let me know what you get – there are some cracking bargains to be had. Have a lovely weekend!
