It’s a happy coincidence that it’s Paddy’s Day today, but honestly, I was already planning a green roundup, I promise! As long as you ignore the rumours of a return to -3 degree temperatures this weekend, there are certainly signs that spring is well and truly on the way, and what better way to celebrate than introducing a few fresh, spring greens into your wardrobe.
The gorgeous floral print on this hush Antibes top just shouts spring, and the loose, flowy fit looks mega flattering – love the ruffles too. I’m already imagining pairing it with some boyfriend shorts and leather sandals for easy weekend dressing (or a spot of holiday sightseeing).
These lush green backless loafers are new in at Topshop, but honestly, I don’t expect them to last too long. I’ve seen backless loafers all over Instagram recently and these are leather too. If, like me, you’re mainly monochrome, these would give the perfect pop of colour. Love them.
Talking about green accessories, how chic are these green Monique sunglasses?
Having been persuaded about wide legged culottes, I’m now slowly coming round to jumpsuits. This Topshop bold stripe jumpsuit looks like it’s a nice, floaty fabric and even though it’s new in, it’s already sold out in a couple of sizes so don’t delay if it’s your kind of thing (not sure about the white boots, though, sorry):
I’m aware that this one could divide people but I think this green lace midi swing dress from ASOS is utterly gorgeous (I think I’d need to try it on to really tell, though).
I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I couldn’t talk about spring greens without a nod to this soft, swishy colourblock pleated skirt from hush. I mean, how gorgeous (see also green backless loafers again)?
Last but not least: I like a sporty bikini that’s not too low on the tummy and this sporty stripe bikini from M&S really fits (see what I did there?) the bill. Love that you can buy both sizes separately too:
