I’m currently obsessed with everything pineapple and I fear my fever is getting worse, not better. Everywhere I look (mostly on Instagram, admittedly), pineapple symbols and patterns are adorning everything from swimwear (see the evidence here) to sofas and most things in between. I’ve seen pineapple earrings, pineapple lip balms and of course, I love my pineapple trainers. Yes, friends, pineapples are no longer just for pizzas (I never did that, honestly) and it’s time to put your hands up and admit that you’re a bit of a devotee of pineapple perfection. It’s not just me, surely?
Happily, the lovely luxury interior and gifting brand, Amara stepped up just in time to feed my pineapple obsession even more by offering me a few pineapple based items from their gorgeous website. Amara are family-run, which I love, and started out as an interior design business, which makes sense as they definitely have an eye for the stylish. They have a huge range of fab brands on the website, including Ralph Lauren, Ted Baker and Missoni home.
First up, I absolutely love Elizabeth Scarlett’s beautiful homewares and accessories and Amara has a lovely selection from the range. I fell in love with this ‘ananas’ velvet wash/clutch bag in the softest pinky mauve colour (£25). Not only is it really well made, with a good quality, sturdy gold zip and a waterproof lining, but it’s so pretty it can double as a clutch while you’re away. I’ve just ordered this rose coloured chiffon maxi from ASOS and I think it will look fab with it. Gorgeous and multi-tasking! What’s not to love?
I adore a tropical scent. Anything coconut/pineapple based has me dreaming of holidays and sun tan lotion (the best smell – did you know that Hawaiian Tropic now do body sprays?), and this gorgeous Nissho Soleil three wick candle (£27) from Voluspa smells amazing. It’s in a gorgeous tin and is made of the softest coconut wax (I know this because I accidentally jabbed my finger into it while lighting it). The scent is a delicious blend of pineapple, tangerine and vanilla. Heaven, and it burns for 60 hours too.
Lastly, if you’re going to take yourself seriously as an Instagrammer, you need a ceramic pineapple.. I jest (only slightly), but how gorgeous is this pineapple ornament (£27) from Bloomingville? Literally pineapple perfection. So pretty. Keep an eye out, you’ll be seeing it in all my pictures!
And if you haven’t had enough pineapple loveliness yet, please also see this fabulous doormat, and this ridiculously amazing aluminium and enamel platter. Now off you go out into the world and shout your love for pineapples out loud. I’ll be here, virtually holding your hand.
Many thanks to Amara for gifting me the above items.
