I’m an alien, so I didn’t vote. But I would have voted no, having a basic suspicion of saying yes (founded upon a very misspent youth) to things that I don’t understand.
I voted no myself and drove MILES to do so, having forgotten to register for Laois when I moved down…
DUH!
Have to say though, how insulting is it that our ‘yes’ politicians are putting todays vote down to misinformation, protest voting and default voting, anything other than the will of the people who elected them? Don’t they credit us with basic literacy and a brain?
Hello !
We feel very grateful for the “no” to the referendum, as we are among the french people who voted “no” and whose vote was not taken for granted.
Thank you very much, have a nice day,
Claudine and Hubert.
Jen: Aw you know all about it. It was all smoking, boys, staying out late, answering back and slamming doors. General teenagery stuff. I don’t think I’d want to have been my parents, although there wasn’t anything too drastic, as in illegal or anything. Oh, apart from the tattoo…
I always hoped she would have a daughter to walk in her mother’s footsteps, but had 2 great little fells – love you boys!! I do wonder if #2 will take after his mad uncle…thoroughly spoiled by a grandma who let him change from his uniform into jeans at her house on the way to school – they never believed he left home in pristine condition – and if only we had known from week to week what colour his hair would be….love you Alg my son…
Crumbs. Can’t wait to see what the politicans come up with now that they’ve had the weekend to think about it.
Mis-spent youth eh? I was a sulky little madam of the highest order, the usual big sighs and ‘you don’t understand!’ stuff, slamming of doors and a phone bill incomprehensible to my poor old dad. Left getting the tattoo until I was 25 though
Having the time to look after your kids whilst providing for them can be tough. Workingmums.co.uk offer advice and support on how mums can work from home and how they can set up their own franchise. Working from home gives you the flexible lifestyle that you require.

Yay to Libertas, by the way!!
Tara: Ugh. I was the teenager from hell. Ask me Ma! x
Thrifty: There you go with the Friedman stuff again. Explain pls x

Well, I got the text of the treaty from them, as opposed from any of my elected representatives, so that’s a big fat THANKS as far as I’m concerned.
(So long as Friendman chappies aren’t into greyhound puppy eating or anything icky…)
Now, on to more interesting gossip – Missus! Misspent youth? If you won’t ‘fess up, I’ll bribe yer Ma…
I Googled that feller Milton Friedman and Wiki tells me he was an advocate of free trade…
I’m going to come out now and confess that I lose all sense of numbers once you put a euro sign in front of them…
May I pop over to yours for a ‘splenation?
In English now!

Ma: But I’m lubly now… x

Wee One: Ooh, glad it wasn’t just me, then. I’d actually quite like another tattoo now although I do regret that first one x
