I’ve never really been a chunky jewellery person, bar the odd feathery bit of boho jewellery on the beach. I love sweet, delicate pieces: a sliver of gold around the neck that catches the light, or a flash of glitter in the ear caught just as you push your hair back. This weekend’s wishlist features the absolutely stunning range from Rachel Jackson London available at John Lewis.
I love Rachel’s story: a British designer who started creating her designs literally at her kitchen table, and went on to be chosen as one of eight Best of British Designers by Goldsmiths in 2009; Rachel’s work features stackable rings, lovely bangles and cuffs, delicate geometric shapes and precious stones.
I thought I’d show you a selection of my favourite pieces, like this super cute small hexagon ring, perfect for stacking:
And LOOK AT THE PINEAPPLES!! I love that the pieces are so quirky and original, but as they’re made from sterling silver (or an optional 22ct gold plated finish), they’re affordable too. This small pendant necklace is £55 in the gold:
,,, and this sweet pineapple ring is £35 in the silver and £40 in the gold. Gorgeous:
Of course I had to treat myself to a little something, and what’s more perfect for someone who loves words than this cute little ampersand on the most delicate, adjustable chain (see the little loop there? It means you can make the chain shorter if you like – great for wearing with different necklines). Again, made in sterling silver and finished in a 22ct gold plating, you can choose from all the initial letters or this cute &, all with a tiny stripe detail. The gift boxes feel really luxurious too.
I’m obsessed. What’s your favourite? x
