So by now you might well have seen me on the telly (I KNOW!). Regular readers will know that I’m a huge freezer fan so I’m delighted to be working with Sainsbury‘s on their ‘love your freezer’ campaign – if you haven’t seen the advert, I’ve got it right here, and it’ll be around on the TV for a while too – I saw it on Channel 4 during Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast, which pleased me immensely!
During the next few months, the ‘Love Your Freezer’ campaign will be bringing you quick and easy meal ideas using essentials from your freezer, as well as great freezer tips and tricks too. It’s all been a bit of a whirl, and the day spent filming the advert was incredibly exciting. I was delighted to discover that the director, Ed St Giles, has also directed one of my food heroes, Rachel Khoo’s food series (no pressure then).
Ever wondered how on earth an advert is filmed? So did I! It’s quite a long process and I was really surprised to discover quite how many people there were on set. The dishes are all filmed from several different angles (there’s a lovely home economist lady who helps with the food), and then there are stills to be taken of the food too. It was a long but exhilarating day. Here’s how I got on:
Have you seen it yet? Let me know what you think! xx
