I’m such a monochrome shopper it’s not even right. Absolutely everything I purchase (apart from denim) is black, white, or grey, so my current obsession with everything nude and blush has kind of caught me by surprise. Although, I guess nude is a neutral, so by rights my wardrobe should all still fit together, no?
It started with these gorgeous, silky nude trainers from M&S – just £25 – aren’t they divine? And they’ll go with anything – I’m actually thinking they’d look lovely with one of the longer, swishy skirts like hush’s delicate Marina, and just a slouchy top or tee:
And talking of my swishy skirt obsession, remember this little ombre beauty, also from hush? Officially ‘latte’ but surely nudey/blushy in nature? I’m just too pale to get away with blush or nude near my face, but this delicious skirt is a great way to get some nude into my wardrobe (matron!).
And while we’re talking about hush, can we just linger over this heavenly, nude leather biker? Oh, my word… Bit of a wishlist item for me at the somewhat investment price of £280, but how lush is it?
And it’s not just nude clothes I’m falling in love with either, it’s accessories too – check out these stunning nude sunglasses from Boden (£60 – I actually love these in all the colours):
And look at these gorgeous, twisted slip on trainers from Topshop (£24). Adore!
Another one of my current obsessions is slightly more masculine shoes – I love these stunning leather and suede Georgia brogues from Anthro:
What do you think? Is nude for you? I think it could be here to stay!
