So a while back, when I was telling you about Christmas in July, I mentioned that I’d bumped into the lovely guys from hush homewear at the John Lewis Christmas event, where they were celebrating their new partnership (hush concessions will be opening in the Birmingham, Chelmsford, Leeds, Oxford Street and Peter Jones stores) and caught a sneaky peek of the new hush autumn 2016 collection. Today, though, there’s even more excitement as it’s time to get a proper look at the gorgeousness. Hurrah! Mr E and I were only saying the other day that it seems weird, given the current scorchio weather, that there are blackberries on the bushes and machines in the fields finishing the harvest. I don’t feel like I’m properly done with summer yet, but then I look at all the lovely new collections and think that maybe it will be nice when autumn arrives after all!
hush’s gorgeous new collection is full of rich midnight blue, forest green and burgundy, with splashes of vibrant red. I have so many favourites this could take a while, so grab a cuppa and I’ll talk you through my highlights. Firstly, it wouldn’t be a hush collection without some star print pieces and this Alessia shirt is divine – just the right amount of sheer, with just the right amount of delicate seam detail. Swoon…
For dressing up, this Loretta dress in that beautiful roccoco red has totally captured my heart. Love the fit, the perfect length, the flattering panelling… everything really.
This cashmere shawl (£125) has ‘constant travel companion’ written all over it too…
There’s loads of great quality leather in the collection (check out the buttery soft leather leggings, especially in the grey colourway – something of an investment piece at £330 but OMG so soft (rubbish pic, sorry, but the lighting was very bad!):
If leather jackets aren’t you, maybe I can tempt you with this snuggly looking gloriously oversized duffle in deep, midnight blue, which I NEED for dog walking this winter:
And as I’m a casual girl at heart, I was delighted to see some stylish trainers:
Oh and not brand new, but my favourite boyfriend jeans £75 updated in a dark denim colourway. Still the best quality, best fitting, most flattering jeans known to man.
Standard delivery (4-5 days) is £3.90, UK 24 hour delivery is £6 and you can even get UK Express delivery for £12 (tempting!). So, what are you ordering first?
