Shopping (and window shopping, as we’ve currently run out of money) continues for our new kitchen. I love a gadget and there are TONS of great gadgets and appliances on the market at the moment. Here’s my current gadget/appliance wish list:
As soon as I get my new worksurfaces, the first thing to grace them will be a Nutribullet. If you haven’t heard of the Nutribullet then, frankly, where have you been? My own lovely blender, although beautiful, can’t really cope with my new found love of smoothies, but the seriously powerful new NutriBullet Pro 900 Series has got a stonking 900W of power, which means it completely smooshes everything: nuts, seeds, you name it, leaving you with a really smooth smoothie. AND it’s got a larger capacity cup too. Want.
The Gtech AirRam K9 vacuum cleaner – the pet version of the UK’s current best selling bagless, cordless vacuum clearner – is a must have if, like me, you’ve got two fur babies and are soon to be the owner of beautiful new wooden floors. Boring though a vacuum cleaner may be, they’re kind of indespensible, and I’ve done my research. This baby is seriously good. It’s really lightweight but incredibly powerful, and even has lavender scented filters to get rid of any doggy whiffs as you vacuum. With a 40 minute power time, you’ve got enough time on one charge to vacuum the entire house too. Clever stuff.
I love Sage appliances. I also love ice cream. And this gorgeous Sage by Heston Blumenthal smart scoop ice cream maker looks so beautiful it wouldn’t end up in the back of a cupboard gathering dust like most other large counter-top appliances. You can choose the firmness of your finished ice cream from 12 different settings, and it can even be set to play a little ice cream van tune when your ice cream is ready. Stunning AND clever.
I’ve mentioned Amica before, but I’m a huge fan of their beautiful, stylish designs. My current obsession is with their incredibly sleek integrated ovens. Our new kitchen is going to be white with oak worktops and I’m desperate for one of their multifunction ovens with steam programmes. I can see me serving beautiful, fresh baguettes for Saturday brunch already.
I think I told you a while ago that KitchenAid have teamed up with Nespresso to basically produce my dream coffee machine. Sadly, they don’t do that beautiful bright blue, but I’d settle for a cream one to match my artisan mixer:
Love them all. Now to save up for all this stuff…
