You know me, I adore Frozen. So the news that Anna and Elsa (and Sven and… yes, Olaf!) will be coming to the Disney Cruise Line ships has made me a happy girl.
Disney Cruise Line have some amazing plans for bringing the characters of the hit Disney film to the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder , including a magical surprise when guests will wake up to discover the atrium lobby has been ‘frozen’ (complete with icicles!). There will also be Frozen themed dining experiences including traditional Nordic dishes inspired by the film. Guests on all four Disney Cruise Line ships will have the chance to meet and have their photographs taken with Anna and Elsa, and get a warm hug from Olaf.
There will be special Frozen celebrations on board, a fabulous interactive deck party where the upper decks will be magically ‘frozen’ too, and even the trolls and Sven will make appearances (albeit virtually!).
Guests on board the Disney Magic cruising to Norway (the inspiration for Frozen’s ‘Arendelle’) starting from June this year, will be sailing through the Norwegian fjords and get the chance to experience new Port Adventures like a visit to a magical storybook village in Ålesund, with a little help from Anna and Elsa.
The gorgeous production ‘Disney Dreams… An Enchanted Classic’ on board the Disney Magic, which features loads of classic Disney characters, will see Anna, Elsa and Olaf join the cast with new scenes added and three of the Frozen songs being added into the new segment too. It’s one of my favourite EVER Disney shows and I can’t wait to see what it’s like with the added Frozen elements.
Oh, and Olaf will finally get to see what happens in Summer when he opens Olaf’s Summertime Freeze bar on Disney’s own private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay. I can’t wait!
