Have you ever been in Oliver Bonas before? Oh my god, we came across one in Leeds: I recognised the name because I remember a gorgeous flatlay from one of my faves, lovely Amanda featuring a funky pineapple from there and I thought we should pop in. I literally loved everything in there! As Laura pointed out, all the colours are really me: soft corals, minty greens, denim blues… and the homeware stuff is gorgeous too. Totally off topic for a cutest summer holiday wishlist roundup but look, I bought a pineapple!
Back to holidays, then, I swear by light, loose dresses – they’re easy to pack, take up no room and always look really stylish. Still in Oliver Bonas, I think this printed shirt dress is divine:
And look at the gorgeous coral coloured one. Heaven:
And you know I love little zip top bags and pouches. They’re so great for packing. I adore this little Lulu Guinness pouch (nabbed in the sale at House of Fraser – check out their range of clutch bags here – I’ve got my eye on the little Mango straw clutch next). Fab for currency/jewellery/whatever, then when you get there, you can use them as evening bags too. Bonus.
Ooh, and talking of clutch bags, isn’t hush’s pompom clutch the cutest thing? And now just a bargainous £30 in the sale too:
And with pom poms in mind, my latest find (thank you Sheerluxe) is this cute little Edit 58 mini pom pom basket: perfect for sunglasses, suncream and a little purse (gorgeous nails by my very talented niece, Amy):
How are we feeling about the whole bodysuit thing? I remember being rather too long in the body back in the 80s and being very uncomfortably cut in half. But then I saw this Cecilia bodysuit/swimsuit from blaiz.co.uk in Red Magazine… Looks perfect for holidays right (but could you actually swim in it? I’m not sure). Moving on, then, how about these FABULOUS print shorts from Urban Outfitters? I saw them on Alex at The Frugality’s holiday Instagram, went to have a look and they’re in the sale for just £15!!
Another bit of uber cuteness that you need in your holiday bag is this pug love compact styler from Tangle Teezer. I’m a recent convert to the Tangle Teezer, but my hair breaks so easily, especially when it’s wet, and this is such a gentle way to brush it. And love the pugs, obvs.
Oh, and I nearly forgot: have you seen much of the new Boden stock yet? Check out the new lace dress – divine! I loved the top and now really want the dress version – and this delicious pink Boden drawstring bag (Boden currently have free delivery and returns with the code 9J8S as well):
Last but not least, a recent discovery of mine is Coco Bay. I love their gorgeous swimwear and all the lovely beach dresses and cover ups – SO NICE! I have a mega amazing giveaway with them coming soon for English Mum’s 10th birthday too – squee! I love this Seafolly Kasbah nectarine high neck singlet top.
I mean, well firstly, the pattern is gorgeous and secondly, I love the idea of high neck swimwear. I always burn my chest and I’m really worried it’s going to be all nasty and crinkly when I’m older, so I’m happy to cover up. Also, love the idea that you can invest in this and then wear it with different coloured plain bottoms – also love a tankini as you can roll it up and get a bit of tummy tanning in when you’re lazing on a sunbed. Yes, it’s £74, but I’m pretty sure it would make an epic top as well. I’m even thinking maybe with a maxi skirt and loads of boho jewellery for lazy evenings by the pool bar?
PHEW, that’s literally everything I’ve screenshotted, seen and lusted after over the last few weeks. What about you? Any wishlist items you want to share? xx
