A shining star of wonderful gorgeousness

The Friday fridge photo

The Friday fridge, no less

So you’ll like this.  I’m bored of the Friday photo.  I’m always hunting around for something interesting to happen, and then when it does, it’s Saturday, and by the time Friday comes around again, I’m wondering if it’s not really so interesting after all.

So anyhoo.  I’ve just been shopping.  Yup, up to Enniskillen – naughty, I know, not supporting the Euro and all that, but I only go once a month, honest, hofficer.  The rest of the time I drive miles to pay double for less choice.  And I thought how nice my fridge looked, all full up with goodies.  So I thought I’d show you.  And guess what?  Next week it’s your turn.  A description and a lubly photo of your fridge, please.  And we’ll carry it on until we run out of photos, or get bored, or er…. well, you get my drift.  Off you go, then.

Oh, and just in case you don’t fancy looking at my fridge, here’s a snow angel, competently demonstrated by #2 (‘y’see, Mum?  You have to kind of flap yer arms and legs’.  ‘Okay, darling, I promise I’ll come and have a go in a minute’).

  2. Hails says:

I do so love my fridge when it’s all full of stuff after doing the shopping! Sometimes I wander over and open it just to look inside and feel satisfied. Is that really pathetic? I’ll have to get a photo next time. :)

By the way, on the subject of photos, I tagged you for a photo meme the other day and, erm, forgot to tell you. Sorry about that. Scroll down to my “Photostory” post to find it!

Fridge is empty right now, but when it’s full I’ll take a piccy!

  4. English Mum says:

Moon: but it’s got mountains that turn a different colour when it’s cold though….

Hails: Ooh, thanks. Will do. I know, mine’s the same. Although Hubby pointed out that it’s probably only exciting to me and therefore very boring to post a picture of it :)

DBM: In the salad drawer. Look harder.

Sarah: Yay! Look forward to that, then x

  5. Sandra says:

Photo won’t enlarge so I can read your labels, gurrrr.
Also, agree totally with Moon re. the “beer”. I’d at LEAST tuck it away in the back so noone else sees that you’re drinking that awful stuff. For shame, EM!!

  6. Baino says:

Aww do I have to . .that means I’ll need to clean it first! Not much in my mother hubbard of a fridge at the moment. Adam seems to have a sixth sense and cleans it out two days after a mega shop.

  7. Susan says:

I think you have a bet going with yourself and if the Coors does’nt roll out and hit the floor you were meant to drink it.Fridge no, take out doesnt photograph well.

  10. English Mum says:

Sandra: It’s all Tesco, I expect! I know nothing about beer, unfortunately. I’ve always thought it tasted like farts.

Baino: Yes. Get cleaning girl. Ah, my kids are much the same with my chocolate drawer. It’s stuffed full, then in an instant it’s empty again!

  11. Townygirl says:

  12. English Mum says:

Towny: I know, it’s fab. I had a very bad experience in Asda at Christmas and now stick firmly to a Tesco-only policy. Have you ever ventured into the town? I’ve often wondered if it’s worth a look x
