Susan: You’re right, of course. We’ve just this very conversation with my Disreputable Dad. Every year he struggles to find something to buy us, rings us up and then we struggle to find something to suggest! This year we just said ‘listen, for goodness sake don’t buy us anything – we don’t need it and it’s just a waste of your precious money’. Maybe we should all give each other IOUs like ‘I’ll do the washing up for a month’ or something ! x

Baino: Blimey, that is impressive. I’ll have to have a look. Me Ma got some fantastic shirts for the kids – :1 got a ‘Hot Fuzz’ one (’tis his favourite film) and she also got a wicked Fender one for Hubby. Must ask where she got them.
