So the lovely people at RTÉ have asked me to tell you all about their new competition. They’re looking for amateur cooks with a great recipe or signature dish that they think could make it big in the marketplace. The more unique or innovative the idea the better.
So if you’ve invented something fahbilis, then click on http://www.rte.ie/tv/recipeforsuccess/ for more information and an application form. Closing date for applications is 26th September so get cracking! Oh, and if you win, remember your mates, eh?

Maybe I could use it to knock up something exciting!!!
Trouble is I wouldn’t be able to see it over here?
Kate: Ah, good point. You should enter just for the craic – they might fly you over!!
Maxi: God, I almost daren’t ask… x
Just a little note to let you know that Mary, Aisling and Amy from the ‘Recipe for Success’ production team will be at the Taste of West Cork Food festival in Skib on Sunday. We will be there to promote the show and canvass for contestants so please feel free to drop by and ask questions or pick up an application form!
Cheers,
Aisling.
