The Friday Photo: a little ray of sunshine

Ah, the greyhound: companion of kings… majestic, affectionate, adorable, a bit lanky, a bit more stupid, a teeny bit bald and motheaten and those ears?  Well, they’re plainly ridiculous.  He did sit still without his lead on for about two minutes though.  Result.

    Bert’s got loooong legs. Alas, I know how it feels. I never get pants that fit me. Luckily he doesn’t have that problem, because well. Dogs don’t wear pants do they?

    I bet someone will invent dog slacks one day. I can see it now.

    Okay, I’ll admit it on the risk of being banned, I’m not a dog person at all, just don’t get em! But this is a cool picture, you can almost see an intelligence and regal personality in him! Very cool! :)

    Poor, poor Bertie. The sweet thing cannot possibly be stupid - he’s just misunderstood! And very beautiful, especially with those rays of sunlight shining down on him! Bless him, he’s gorgeous!

    Jay: Yes, he’s definitely misunderstood alright - he’s dead weird! Well I think he’s lovely but the chunks of fur missing, copious scars and blue skin don’t really help his kerb appeal!!

    Stewie was a complete mess today….. as the ponds are drying out at the park the result is mud to lie in instead…… so he was chucked into the lake to clean off a bit.

    Glad to see a dog who can be civilised at least some of the time! lol

    Tara: Meh, it’s all fields round here. But I know what you mean - he loves people and I’d love to take him to a town or somewhere and walk along with him - he’d be in heaven! And the top of his head is very soft and kissable. I checked. x
