Have you thought about picking up a toddler size bed at a thrift store for Bertie? I almost got one from Goodwill for Sweeper but couldn’t figure out where to put it - too much stuff already!!

Robert: Gasp! Only tea near the keyboard and then I keep it on my special coaster. Oh and wine occasionally. Deffo no snacks though - trying to lose the muffin top!!!
